Deep Algarve was born in 2019, when Fernanda realised that mass tourism was turning the Algarve into a backdrop of itself, beautiful on the outside, empty on the inside. With deep roots in the region and a decade of experience in sustainable tourism, she decided to create an alternative.
Today, we guide conscious travellers from around the world through the Algarve that isn't in the guidebooks: the oldest and most traditional villages with stories to tell, cliffs that few have walked, honey and cork producers who preserve millennial knowledge, and an ocean that hides more history than we imagine.
